90 ulema banned from entering Attock

The district administration of Attock has imposed a 90-day ban on 90 ulema and Zakireens from entering the premises of the district in order to maintain law and order during the upcoming Muharram.

According to reports in the local media, 42 Deobandi, eight Barailvi and 40 Shia Ulema and Zakareen have been banned from entering the Attock district.

Those banned include Maulana Khizar Hayat, resident of Bhakar, Maulana Muhammad Yousaf Rizvi and Toka Wali Sarkar, residents of Lahore, Maulana Abdul Aziz, resident of Lal Masjid Islamabad, Mufti Syed Ahmed Usmani, resident of Islamabad, Maulana Muhammad Siddique of Wah Cantt, Shabir Ahmed Usmani, resident of Taxila, Maulana Qari Naveed Masood Hashmi of Rawalpindi, Maulana Masood-ur-Rehman Al-Maroof Abu Moavia of Roshan Pura and Maulana Atta Ullah Bindialvi of Sargodha among others.
