Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s social media accounts were recently hacked and it has been reported that the ‘Pro-Pakistan’ Turkish cyber army Ayyildiz Tim was behind the incident.

Kapoor, who welcomed his second child on Thursday, later confirmed the news and cautioned fans and followers to avoid any interaction on his Twitter handle.

He took to Instagram to share the news, writing, “Hey guys thank you for the wonderful wishes. My Instagram and Twitter have been hacked. Just got my Insta back.”

Shahid further said that his team is “working on sorting Twitter. So please know it’s not me and avoid any interaction.”

Earlier in the day, a series of absurd tweets were posted on Shahid’s Twitter timeline, including messages praising Alauddin Khilji.

In the pinned tweet on his timeline, signed Ayyildiz Tim, the message suggested that the hackers believe that Padmaavat’s portrayal of Khilji was unfair.

Translated, the Turkish text read, “King Alladdin was not a barbarian, animal and dishonest man as you have demonstrated!”

The hackers also changed Kapoor’s profile pictures and professed their love for Katrina Kaif.

The Turkish cyber outfit is believed to be the same person who previously hacked the account of Abhishek Bachchan, Anupam Kher and Kriti Sanon. They have also targeted different governmental sites of USA, China, UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Egypt and Russia.
