Prominent cricketer Shahid Afridi was caught consuming powdered tobacco snuff (naswar) while he was attending a ceremony to commemorate the 53rd Defence Day at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
In a video available on social media, the cricketer can be seen candidly placing the snuff under his lip.
Tobacco snuff, famously known as naswar, is a popular snort among Pashtuns. Originally meant for the nose, the moist paste is also placed in the mouth for extended durations.
