Justice delayed, justice denied, says PML-N

The Pakistan Muslim League-N on Tuesday expressed its deep concern over the delay in court proceedings and non-provision of justice to Nawaz Sharif.

It was stated in a declaration after the PML-N parliamentary party held its meeting under the presidentship of Shahbaz Sharif. The party leaders said that Nawaz Sharif was a political prisoner and there was no proof of corruption against him and he was not being granted bail.

They showed their complete solidarity with Nawaz Sharif and said that the party would never withdraw its demand of making parliamentary commission on election rigging. They said that the PML-N would pressurise the government to set up a commission and would also contact other opposition parties in this regard.

They also criticised the government decision of increasing rates of electricity, tube wells and fertilizers and termed these anti-people decisions. They also flayed the government for stopping the CPEC funds and stopping work on its western route. The sated that the government’s anti-CPEC policies would be harmful for the country.

They also ridiculed the foreign policy of the present government.
