A meeting of the Corp Commanders’ Conference (CCC) on Tuesday discussed the evolving geo-strategic environment and the progress of Operation Raddul Fasaad.
According to a tweet by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) DG Major General Asif Ghafoor, the meeting, chaired by Chief of Army Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa, paid rich tribute to the martyrs and directed that field formation should reach out to the families of martyrs in their areas to pay their respects.

Defence Day is observed on Sept 6 to commemorate the sacrifices of soldiers who lost their lives in the 1965 war.
