The federal government on Sunday gave an advertisement of the auction of Prime Minister House’s luxury cars, under which 102 cars will be auctioned on September 17.

The ad, given in the newspapers, mentions only 2 ultra-luxury Mercedes S600 Maybachs while six cars were received by the PM House earlier in August.

The absence of four Maybachs from the advertisement got the attention of Twitter users as one tweeted and asked: “Where are the new Maybachs? Ordered by Khaqaan, why aren’t those being auctioned”.

The PM House last week received six Mercedes S600 Maybachs valued at Rs180 million each, as per Pak Wheels.

The ultra-luxury vehicles are reportedly armoured and bomb proof. The Maybach features ultra levels of comfort and is highly spacious.

Moreover, it offers a longer wheelbase than the Mercedes S600. The Maybach also boasts a four-litre V12 bi-turbo engine.

The ultra-luxury vehicle also features ‘Magic Body Control’ and adjusts suspension according to the road.

It also offers reclining seats, massage functions, infotainment features, temperature-controlled refreshment box, folding tables and real-wood fixtures.

On the other hand, a BMW M760 was also delivered to the PM’s residence.

Furthermore, the president and the PM reportedly use similar models which had earlier been purchased in 2016.

Former PM Nawaz Sharif before this purchase had reportedly obtained two BMW 760Li Sedans.
