NAUNDERO: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari the other day termed Imran Khan’s government a ‘U-Turn regime’.

He said this while addressing an Eid Milan Party hosted by him for polling agents of NA-200, PS-10 and 11 and party’s activists at Bhutto House. Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, Faryal Talpur, Nisar Khuhro and others were also present on the occasion.

PPP chairman state that he is happy to hear the announcements of the 100-day plan, but so far not a single part of it has been implemented.

Bilawal said that his party would focus on good governance in the province and elected members would have to prove themselves to be public’s servants, doing work selflessly.

He said, “We will fight together for attaining our rights. People of Sindh gave us more votes than 2013 general elections and now it is our turn to repay the same to the people by giving them full facilities and basic necessities by serving them honestly. I am satisfied with the workers who stood firm despite difficult hurdles and did not change their loyalties.”

He said PPP would continue its struggle till last breath for safeguarding and restoring democracy in the country. Bilawal added, “If people continue their support, PPP one day will also form government at national level.”

However, according to reports, the written applications being brought by party workers were found to were torn apart by the security guards outside the entrance of Bilawal House despite the assurance that they would be handed over to the party chairman. Party affiliates had wished to give them directly to the Bilawal, however, they were not allowed to do that.

This, according to reports, had disappointed the members, who murmured that they have once again been ignored. They demanded of their chairman should take serious notice of the matter and appoint new personnel staff and order them to respect the poor workers.

Meanwhile, Political Secretary to Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Jameel Soomro took notice of reports in a section of news channels about the applications collected during a gathering of PPP workers at Bhutto House and an inquiry had been ordered into the reports, said a message sent to newsmen through WhatsApp.
