National highways, motorways police officers reunite lost 9-year-old with parents

ISLAMABAD: As per details, the officers of National Highways and Motorways Police (NH&MP) N-5 North Zone Inspector Zafar Iqbal and Auxiliary Police Officer (APO) Abid Hayat found a lost child in the area of Beat-11, Muridke during a routine patrol.

After an initial investigation, it was revealed that the 9-year-old child Muhammad Ansar S/O Ghazanfar Ali was a resident of dist, Gujranwala and left his house after being beaten by his mother.

Motorway officers kept the child in police custody and contacted his uncle who confirmed the disappearance of Ansar.

The child was handed over to his first cousin Hummayon who appreciated the kind act of NH&MP officers. The DIG N-5 North Zone Muhammad Waqar Abbasi admired and appreciated the efforts of the officers and expected the same enthusiasms from all other officers of N-5 North Zone in charge of their official obligations.
