Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar made a ‘comeback’ for Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Lahore Qalandars in Gujranwala Stadium on Tuesday.
The speedster bowled during the ongoing talent hunt by the Qalandars across the country. The Qalandars’ selection team including Akhtar is currently in Gujranwala.
On his Twitter account, Shoaib Akhtar shared a video with the caption: “Here am making a come back for Lahore Qalandar. Bowled after years but loved it.”

Shoaib Akhtar is the fasted bowler Pakistan has ever produced and he also holds the world record of bowling the fastest ball -161.3 km/hour in the history of cricket.
The pacer is currently working with Lahore Qalandars to find new talent across the country.
He has toured Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Faisalabad and Gujranwala for the purpose.
