According to an official notification by the cabinet division, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will be called ‘Imran Khan’ from now on instead of his full name ‘Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi’.
The issued notification read: “The Prime Minister has been pleased to direct that instead of his full name “Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi”, his short name i.e. “Imran Khan” shall be used in all official communications. The above direction may be brought to the notice of all concerned for compliance.”
However, despite the notification, the official website of the PM office has not been updated to comply with official orders yet.
