SUKKUR: In a dispute over rented property, a young man threw acid on his landlord’s daughter. The 20-year-old was shifted to the local Civil Hospital.
The attack occurred in Islam Colony’s New Pind neighbourhood where the victim’s father accused his tenant’s son of dousing acid on his daughter when he asked them to vacate the property.
He added that the tenants wanted to illegally take over his property and had not left the premises despite being told to earlier.
According to hospital staff, 40% of the girl’s body suffered burn marks.
The accused flee from the scene and escaped arrest.
