Dr Shafiq appointed as General Hospital administration, monitoring director

LAHORE: Ameer Uddin Medical College and Lahore General Hospital Principal Prof Mohammad Tayyab has deputed Dr Rana Mohammad Shafiq BS-20 as director administration/monitoring of the hospital and has given him directions to take charge of the post and working effectively for the betterment of the institution.

Prof Mohammad Tayyab said that the medical institution like Lahore General Hospital has its own requirements and we all should continue our efforts to make it the top best institution in the province. He directed the director monitoring to ensure proper cleanliness and discipline in the hospital and leave no stone unturned in this regard.  He said that no compromise would be admissible on the attendance of the doctors, nurses and paramedical staff at General Hospital and director monitoring/administration should take two rounds of each department and take on the spot action against the absent ones. He also asked to maintain attendance register in all the three shifts of working of Lahore General Hospital.

Prof Mohammad Tayyab said, “It is our utmost duty to properly look after the patients and observe no leniency should be observed in this regard.”

He directed that immediate action should be taken against the encroachments outside the hospital so that patients should not suffer from any hurdle. The principal congratulated Dr Rana Mohammad Shafiq on his assuming new responsibilities of director monitoring and assured him of his all-out cooperation.

On this occasion, Dr Rana Mohammad Shafiq thanked Prof Mohammad Tayyab on assigning him a new portfolio and assured that he would put his all his efforts to come to the expectations of his senior and the authorities for the betterment of Lahore General Hospital.
