ISLAMABAD – In yet another expose revealing the truth about former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, renowned journalist Saleem Safi has confirmed that unlike many other leaders the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has been paying the price of all of his blunders with personal expenses.
Talking exclusively to The Dependent, Safi revealed that Nawaz Sharif had a principled stance on the matter and believed that he alone should suffer for the wrong steps that he has taken in the past.
“Mian Nawaz Sharif paid all the price of his political blunders himself, from his own pocket,” he said in the exclusive interview. “When Imran Khan was told about this he asked for proof and that’s when the receipts of all the paybacks for Mian saab’s blunders was showed to him.”
Without naming any names, Safi said that there still are other politicians in the country who haven’t paid at all for their blunders, let alone from their own pocket.
“I don’t want to name anyone but the serving Prime Minister of Pakistan does not pay for his blunders,” Safi said. “But soon he’ll realise that he is writing cheques with blunders that his political future won’t be able to cash.”
