SWABI: Three people, including a Pakistani-born Portuguese national, were killed when a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in Swabi on Tuesday.
According to police, the driver lost control of the vehicle at Bator Village on the way to Topi tehsil.
The Pakistani-born Portuguese was identified as Ikram Ullah. Ikram was visiting his native town after 22 years to celebrate Eid with family. Another passenger who was killed in the crash was a school teacher Mohammad Ali. The third dead body is still unidentified.
Earlier this month, at least five people were killed, including the driver of the vehicle, when a van skidded off the road and plunged hundreds of feet into a deep ditch near the Lari village near Abbottabad.
