Prime Minister Imran Khan in his first speech to the nation urged overseas Pakistanis to play their role in the fight against financial crisis in Pakistan.
Impressed by Khan’s speech, a US-based Pakistani doctor, Dr Imran, has decided to shift to Pakistan to serve his country.
In a video on social media, the physician said that he has been living in the States for the last 10 years and after listening prime minister’s speech in which has has urged overseas Pakistan to play their role in progress and development of the country, he has decided to sell all his properties and shift to Pakistan.

“I have decided to serve my country by taking all my money back,” he said, adding that he has asked his wife, who is also a physician, to resign and travel back with him.
In his maiden speech, referring to the dismal economy, Imran said economic difficulties were not as bad in the history of the country as compared to today. “The debt burden increased from Rs 6,000 billion to 28, 000 billion rupees during the last ten years,” he said.
He said in the past the country had to secure 2 billion dollar loan annually to pay back its debt, but “today, we have to take two billion dollars every month to pay back just interest on loans obtained in the past”.
