Police find no conclusive evidence in Hamdard manager’s murder case

Central Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Irfan Ali Baloch said that no evidence has yet been found which would help ascertain the identity of the killers in Asghar Ali, Hamdard Dawakhana manager’s murder. The police were waiting for the forensic report to identify if the same weapon had been used in criminal activities in the past.

“Investigators are also interrogating workers at the famous dawakhana to get any clue,” he said.

Police had launched an investigation into the murder of the manager after registering an FIR [First Information Report].

The SSP shared that such incidents usually happen because of some personal enmity.

Gulbahar station house officer (SHO) Qamar Zaib Satti said the police had registered an FIR (145/2018) on the complaint of the victim’s brother Rafaqat Ali against unknown killers under Section 302 (murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code.

Rafaqat Ali, branch manager of a private bank, stated that the family did not have any enemies.
