Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader and Senator Rehman Malik on Sunday backed party’s decision of abstaining from voting for prime minister slot in the National Assembly, a private media outlet reported.
In a statement senior PPP leader said decision was made in wake of Shehbaz Sharif’s controversial remarks about party co-chairman Zardari.
Malik said Shahbaz had met Maulana Fazlur Rehman without consulting PPP as we have been neglected by the PML-N.
The Senator said that PPP is not a smaller party to be neglected.
He said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s speech was based on his own thinking as no one has written the script of his maiden speech in the Parliament.
Malik said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a graduate from Oxford University and No one can speak better than him.
