KARACHI: Two persons, including a head constable of police, were killed and another injured in separate violent incidents in the metropolis on Sunday.
Police said that unidentified armed men tried to snatch motorcycle from a citizen near Karimabad Bridge in Karachi when head constable Imran reached the scene to help the citizen. The culprits opened fire killing the police official on the spot, while injuring another. The culprits then fled the scene.
Meanwhile, a tortured body of a man was recovered from Yaqoobabad area of Orangi Town.
The bodies and injured were shifted to different hospitals of respective areas and the police after registering separate cases into both incidents have started the investigation.
