BARA: A bullet-ridden body of a retired army officer was recovered from a canal here on Sunday.
According to district administration, the body was recovered from Ghundi Canal in tehsil Jamrud of Khyber Agency after it was spotted by the tribesmen
The body was shifted to hospital where the deceased was identified as Subedar (r) Fiaz.
The body was handed over to heirs after medico-legal formalities.
