Pakistan, India’s DGMOs establish contact through hotline

Pakistan and India’s Director General Military Operations (DGMOs) established contact via hotline in which both exchanged Independence Day facilitations, an Inter-Services Public Relations statement said on Thursday.

DGMO Major General Sahir Shamshad in his conversation with his counterpart Lieutenant General Anil Chauhan said that Pakistan is aspirant of peace in the region.

Both military officials expressed satisfaction over the state of affairs at the Working Boundary. However, Major General Shamshad said that unprovoked Indian firing at the Line of Control after May 29 martyred 4 innocent civilians and injured another 32.
