Fire breaks out at government office on Mall Road

LAHORE: A fire erupted on the sixth floor of the Registrar Cooperative Societies Punjab’s office on the provincial capital’s Mall Road on Friday morning.

Rescue personnel arrived at the site after they were informed of the incident.

Records of all housing societies in the province are stored in the Registrar Cooperative Societies Punjab’s office.

The blaze was reportedly extinguished after two hours of operation.
