LAHORE: Unidentified men killed a couple with a sharp-edged weapon in the provincial capital on Friday and escaped the scene.
According to the police, the incident took place inside a house at Maulana Ahmad Ali Road – an area of Ravi Road – where unidentified miscreants killed Shehbaz and his wife Saira with a sharp-edged knife.
Police said that the couple had entered into love marriage a few months back. It was feared that the couple was killed by ex-husband and son of Saira who were annoyed over her second marriage.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for postmortem.
