LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Muhammad Khan Leghari has reportedly emerged as a new strong contender for the post of Punjab chief minister (CM).
Leghari won the general elections 2018 from Dera Ghazi Khan’s NA-192 and PP-292.
Moreover, Leghari had defeated Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif from NA-192.
Leghari had bagged 80,522 votes against Sharif who had received 67,608 votes.
Furthermore, Leghari had received 32,423 votes from PP-292 against his opponent Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari who had bagged 32,170 votes.
