ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that the government is taking steps to promote tourism under public-private partnership.
Addressing a function in Muzaffarabad on Thursday, he said the region has a great potential for tourism. The investment of overseas Kashmiris would be protected and all government machinery will assist investors, he added.
Farooq Haider said the government is preparing a comprehensive policy to attract investors and provide them with all facilities including the legal cover to their investment.
He said the investors must promote hotel industry in the scenic valleys of Azad Kashmir. He particularly directed tourist, electricity and communication departments to provide all possible facilities to the tourists.
