Junoon gives their classic ‘Khudi’ a new look

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their immensely popular Azaadi album, three of Junoon’s former members namely Ali Azmat, Brian O’ Connell and Salman Ahmad, have come together for a new video for the track Khudi.

Khudi was performed on Allama Iqbal’s heart-touching poetry.

The video features the Junoon trio in their rockstar element and aims to celebrate some of Pakistan’s outstanding talents such as Laraib Atta (country’s youngest visual effects artist), Shaheer Niazi (Pakistan’s youngest scientist) Ronak Lakhani (philanthropist) and Fakhar Zaman (cricketer, the first batsman from Pakistan to score a double century) and Captain Maryam Masood (Pakistan’s first female pilot to successfully land a flight in Gilgit).

While fans still eagerly wait for the band to reunite and produce new and original music, they are reliving the rock band with this rendition for now.
