LAHORE: TUV Austria Bureau of Inspection and Certification launched its ‘Plant for Pakistan’ tree plantation drive on Monday.
“With August 14 right around the corner, it is that time of the year where our patriotism is at its height, we are all high on emotions and are inspired to give something back to our motherland,” read a statement released by the company.
“Using this Independence Day as an opportunity to reach out to our nation and give something back to our beautiful Pakistan, TUV Austria Bureau of Inspection and Certification has decided to launch its ‘Plant for Pakistan’ drive to plant 2,500 trees across the country,” it added.
As part of the project, the company has distributed Cassia Fabaceae and Bauhinia seeds so they can be planted by individuals from across Pakistan.
