LAHORE: Lahore police on Friday night arrested two alleged con women and their accomplices from Peco road of the metropolis after area residents caught them and handed over to authorities.
As per media reports, the con women used to loot unsuspecting motorists under the guise of hitchhikers, a citizen, Qaiser claimed while recording his statement to Liaquatabad police.
“Three suspects used to blackmail people and would threaten who refused to comply,” he further added.
Police consequently arrested the women and launched an investigation into the case.
