Road mishap leaves as many as 35 injured in Quetta

QUETTA: At least 35 people were injured when a passenger coach overturned in Balochistan’s Lasbela district on Friday.

According to the details, the passenger coach was travelling from Quetta to Karachi when it skidded near Bella area due to over speeding. As a result, at least 35 people travelling

on the bus,  were injured.

Following the accident, rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Rescue sources said that five of the injured are in critical condition.

CLASH LEAVES ONE DEAD, TWO INJURED:

A man was killed and two others were injured in a clash between two groups near Hunna Urak area of Quetta on Friday.

According to Levies sources, two sub-clans took a position and used automatic weapons against each other after developing dispute among them.

As a result, Amir Shah died on the spot while two others namely Abdul Naseem and Abdul Nafay received wounds.

Levies force on information reached the site and shifted the body and the injured to the civil hospital for medical aid. The body of the deceased was handed over to the heirs after completion medico-legal formalities

The reason of clash is stated to be an old enmity.

Levies force registered a case and started an investigation.
