Concrete steps being taken for better education, health services: AJK president

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has said that concrete steps are being taken for the promotion of tourism, development of infrastructure and improving education and health services.

Addressing a public gathering at Jandala in District Rawalakot on Thursday, he said that the government is spending huge funds for socio-economic uplift of people and overcoming unemployment.

He said that funds would also be provided for the building of government Boys High schools and Girls Intermediate College at Jandala.

Meanwhile, the AJK president strongly condemned Indian atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) saying that defenceless people who are struggling for their right to self-determination are mercilessly assassinated.

He appealed to the international community to take notice of grave human rights violations in IOK.
