MULTAN: An eight-year-old girl who was brutally tortured by a teacher in Multan, succumbed to injuries on Tuesday after seven days of agony.
It was reported by the police that Noor Fatima, a student at a local seminary was beaten up by her teacher that resulted in paralysis from the neck down.
Following the incident, the child was taken to a local clinic and later shifted to Nishtar Hospital where doctors informed the family about the serious condition of the child.
According to doctors, “Fatima’s neck was injured, which resulted in body paralysis.”
The victim’s family are now seeking justice for their daughter and staged a protest in front of the hospital.
Fatima’s mother has appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to look into the matter and assured that justice is served.
The police have arrested the teacher and initiated an investigation into the case.
