ISLAMABAD: Mehro Hayat, daughter of Bushra Bibi, announced on Monday that she was joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Bushra Bibi is the wife of prime minister nominee Imran Khan.
Mehro Hayat and her friend Farah Khan decided to join the party together.
PTI nominated Imran Khan as a candidate for prime minister on Monday. Bushra Bibi said that she aims to work for women’s issues in Pakistan after her husband assumes power.
Imran Khan married Bushra Bibi, who is also his spiritual advisor, in a private ceremony in February this year.
