Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry on Saturday said that the greatest opposition to the PTI is the country’s expectation associated with the party and its narrative of bringing change.

The PTI spokesperson wrote on Twitter, “The nation expects huge decisions from PTI and the Cabinet will be a bed of thorns because people want change, which is both, quick and effective.”

Chaudhry also said that it would not be an easy task to live up to the promises by PTI as they had raised the expectations of party supporters.

In the recent general elections, 116 National Assembly (NA) seats were bagged by PTI while the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won 64 seats.

PTI’s election campaign was grounded in an anti-corruption ideology with the slogan ‘Naya Pakistan’.
