ATC rejects bail plea of accused in DSP, his guard’s murder case

KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday rejected bail pleas of the accused involved in target killing of Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Nawaz Ranjha and his guard.

The main accused including Ubaid Kato, Irfan and others appeared in the court.

As per media reports, Police told the court that the accused belongs to Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM).

It is to be mentioned that the accused had opened the fire on the vehicle of DSP Ranjha in 2010. Nawaz Ranjha and his guard died during firing and more than 5 accused of the case are absconding.

The court rejected the bail request of the accused again and adjourned the hearing of the case till August 12.
