RAWALPINDI: Disgruntled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former interior minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Friday denied the media reports quoting him “desirous to meet party supremo Nawaz Sharif”.
In a statement issued here, Nisar’s spokesperson termed the media reports “baseless and out of context”.
The spokesperson also said that it was a matter of grave concern that the administration of newspapers didn’t confirm rumours and published whatever they heard without any confirmation from the people or departments concerned.
“Neither has Nisar expressed any desire to meet Nawaz nor has he sent any such message for the purpose,” the spokesperson stated further.
He also denied the reports that Nisar had decided to contest the by-elections.
