Al-Azizia Mills, Flagship Investment references adjourned till Friday

ISLAMABAD: The Accountability Court (AC) of Islamabad Wednesday adjourned hearing of two references against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif pertaining to the Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investment, till Friday.

AC Judge Muhammad Bashir conducted heard the remaining two references against former prime minister filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

At the outset of hearing, the court was informed that the defence’s petition seeking shifting of the two reference to another judge was under process before an Islamabad High Court (IHC) bench.

On which, the court adjourned the hearing till August 3.

It may be added that Judge Bashir had already given his judgement in the Avenfield London property reference convicting Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (r) Muhammad Safdar.
