Nawaz’s medical board head suffers cardiac arrest

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the medical board appointed to look after convicted former prime minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has been hospitalised after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The chief, Dr Ejaz Qadeer, is also the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) executive director.

Dr Qadeer has been given medical treatment including a pacemaker.

The former PM had been shifted to PIMS on July 29.
