Illegal Pakistani immigrants queue up in the office of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) as officials are busy in preparing their documents after questioning them in Quetta, in southwestern Baluchistan province, 02 June 2003, following their deportation by the Iranian authorities. Iranian Border Security Forces have handed over some 170 Pakistani nationals to the FIA, who illegally attempted to enter into Iran and Turkey, at the bordering town of Taftan close to Pakistan-Iran border 01 June. QUETTA: The Iranian security force handed over 129 Pakistani nationals to Levies force at Pak-Iran Borders in Taftan area of Chaghi district on Monday.
According to Levies sources, these Pakistani workers had gone to Iran for their livelihood. They were apprehended from different parts of Iran by security forces as they were living there without valid traveling documents.
Levies sources said these deportees would be handed over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further investigation after completion of initial inquiry.
