VVIP protocol given to Imran Khan, Bani Gala to be ‘secured’


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was extended VVIP protocol similar to what is given to the head of government since he is likely to be the next prime minister.

Senior police officials including Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Waqar Ahmed Chohan paid a visit to Khan’s Bani Gala residence and conducted a security audit of the area.

Concertina wire will be installed on the PTI’s chief’s residence’s walls and police personnel will be deployed around it.

Moreover, foot patrols have also been ordered around his house and on the way leading to his residence.
