After just two months of dating, Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra and singer-musician Nick Jonas have reportedly gotten engaged.
According to a report in People magazine, the couple got engaged last week when the couple was celebrating Chopra’s 36th birthday in London.
Quoting a source, People magazine revealed that the couple is extremely happy and Nick’s “friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him. He’s definitely very serious about her.” The report also added that Nick shut down an entire Tiffany store to buy a ring for his lady-love.
Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of Chopra’s upcoming film with Salman Khan, Bharat also in a Twitter post revealed that Chopra is no longer part of the film. His tweet hinted at the possibility of an engagement.
“Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of ‘Bharat’ and and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her… Team ‘Bharat’ wishes Priyanka Chopra loads of love and happiness for life,” he tweeted.
Priyanka and Nick met at last year’s Met Gala where they both sported Ralph Lauren outfits. The two hit it off and have recently been inseparable – from dates in both New York City and Los Angeles to travelling to India together in June so that Jonas could meet Chopra’s mother and her close friends.
