Efforts to continue for corruption-free Balochistan: NAB DG

QUETTA: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan Director General Mirza Mohammad Irfan Baig on Thursday said that NAB will continue its efforts for corruption-free Balochistan.

“Nothing could deter bureau’s resolve to eradicate corruption through its holistic approach. There is zero tolerance against corruption and corrupt elements,” he commented while talking to the complainants during an open court held at Balochistan office, said a press release issued here.

Following the directives issued by the NAB Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal, NAB Balochistan DG held an open court during which a large number of complainants visited the bureau office and submitted complaints against the government functionaries, departments, and private individuals, it added.

Baig calmly listened to all complaints and issued immediate directives to the various complaints on the spot.

He assured that in the light of the documented proof in various cases, strict action would be taken to provide relief to the those affected and to recover the looted national wealth.

“No leniency would be tolerated for those looting the national wealth and making people’s life miserable by cheating public at large for their vested interests,” the DG vowed.
