ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan has directed all returning officers to conclude the final results by 29th July after disposing off all the applications of recounting within two days.
As per Election Act, the counting of postal ballots will be held in next two days in presence of the candidates. The ECP has also issued directions to all Returning Officers that the applications for recounting should be dealt with Article 95(5) and 95(7) of the Election Act and provide the copies of Form- 45 to all desired candidates within two days.
ECP in its directives , also instructed the ROs to inform date and venue of the counting of postal ballots to all the candidates in black and white so that the postal ballots must be counted in their presence.
