LAHORE: Polling staff in some places appeared to be biased in favour of a certain political party, according to an observation made by the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP).
HRCP’s monitoring teams carried out observation activities in 67 National Assembly (NA) constituencies, according to a press release issued by the commission.
“While the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has carried out its clerical functions reasonably well, the political content of its work has fallen short of expectations.” HRCP’s report reads.
