BATTAGRAM: At least three people died and a dozen others were injured when a jeep carrying voters fell into a ravine on Wednesday.
Police said that a jeep carrying voters to polling station for casting vote skidded off road after driver lost control of the vehicle and it plunged into a gorge in mountainous area of tehsil Allai district of Battagram.
Three people died on the spot and 12 others were seriously injured.
The police and local population through joint efforts pulled up the bodies and injured from the gorge and shifted them to a hospital where condition of some wounded was stated to be in critical.
