PML-Q still relevant, Ch Shujat tells Subway cashier while cashing in on election day discount

(Disclaimer: this is a work of fiction. Learn to take a joke; you’ll live longer.)

After pushing along in line surrounded by a throng of fellow customers at his local Subway, the head of the PML-Q Ch Shujat Hussain insisted to the cashier that his party was still relevant.
He said this while showing his inked thumb to the cashier so he could avail the 10% discount that the sandwich shop was offering to people that had voted.
“Trust me we are still relevant” he said as he pointed out to the man assembling his turkey sub that he would like no tomatoes in that, please and thank you.
“I used to be Prime Minister once you know, and that means I can splurge which means I am not getting the sub of the day and getting turkey instead” he went on to tell the unsuspecting cashier.
The 18 year old cashier, who did not really know who Ch Shujat was or what the PML-Q was, went on to ask him who he had voted for.
“I voted PTI but that’s only because the PML-Q didn’t field a candidate from my constituency otherwise I would have 100% voted for them” he went on to say.
“What the heck, go ahead and add the double chocolate chip cookie” he ended.
