ISLAMABAD: The United Kingdom (UK) High Commissioner in Pakistan Thomas Drew through a statement released late Tuesday bid his well wishes to the citizens of Pakistan as the nation heads to polls on Wednesday.
The commissioner called it a “big day for Pakistan”.
“Best wishes to the millions of Pakistani men and women who will be exercising their democratic right – casting their vote to shape the prosperous and secure future this country deserves,” he wrote on Twitter.
General elections are being held between 8 am and 6 pm across the country.
