ISLAMABAD: The distribution of tickets on National Assembly seats reserved for minorities by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has caused disappointment in the Christian community, a local media outlet reported on Sunday.

According to PML-N Minority Wing-Islamabad President Manzoor Masih, Hindus have been given more priority this elections season than Christians, who make up a larger proportion of the population.

Masih said that the socio-economic situation of Christians in the country is precarious and so there is a dire need to have Christian representation inside the parliament.
