Relief activities underway in flood-affected Ghizer

GILGIT: Teams of Pakistan Army doctors and engineers are taking part in the relief activities to minimise sufferings of the Badswat flood affectees, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement issued on Sunday.

The district administration of Ghizer has set up a control room in Ghakuch to monitor the flood situation, which can be reached at the contact number: 0581-4920100.

Meanwhile, control room sources have said that floods from the Badswat Glacier as well as the discharge from the lake are continuing for now.
