ISLAMABAD: Heads of various political parties continue to run electoral campaigns despite threats to their personal safety.
Earlier on July 9, The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) had issued warned leaders of several mainstream political parties about threats to their personal safety including Imran Khan, Afsandyar Wali, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, Akram Durrani, Ameer Haider Hoti, and Talha Saeed.
Moreover, NACTA also passed on threat warnings to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto.
Despite the threats, leaders and heads of major political parties have continued to campaign for the upcoming general elections.
