The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Friday suspended three civil and two sessions judges for violating the judicial code of conduct, according to a local news channel.
The names of the judges were said to be Naeem Iqbal, Aurangzeb Khan, Jauhar Aijaz Ali, Shakeelur Rehman and Salma Irfan.
The judges were suspended for three months and, if the allegations against them are proven, their employment will be terminated, according to a notification issued by the PHC.
It added that the judges will not be entitled to any of the benefits they would have otherwise received, including pension, if their employment is terminated.
Moreover, the high court has also ordered an inquiry into the matter.
