KARACHI: Ali Zafar-Maya Ali starrer Teefa In Trouble finally hit the screens Thursday night with a star-studded premiere which had the film industry’s whose-who in attendance.
The cast of the film which includes the likes of Ali Zafar, Maya Ali, Javed Sheikh, Faisal Qureshi, Simi Raheal, Mahmood Aslam, Asma Abbas and Mahenur Haider were seen with director Ahsan Rahim on the red carpet.
Moreover, Humayun Saeed, Sarwat Gilani, Sheheryar Munawar, Danyal Zafar, Ayesha Fazli, Saquib Malik, Asad Ul Haq, Nadia Hussain, Feroze Khan, Faizan Haquee, Maria Wasti were among the members of the film fraternity in attendance.
Film and media industry bigwigs Mir Ibrahim, Imran Aslam, Nadeem Mandivalla, Jamil Baig and Amjad Rashid were also there to support the film’s premiere which took over 3 packed cinema halls at Nueplex Cinemas.
The most expensive Pakistani film to hit the local screens vowed the audiences who experienced a variety of emotions as they watched the film. Most of them were in awe of Zafar and Ali sizzling onscreen chemistry.
Speaking at the event, lead star Ali remarked, “I cannot explain my excitement in words, you guys made it a hit even before release.”
Teefa In Trouble’s music has been appreciated widely and has even garnered interest on the other side of the border.
Produced under the umbrella of Zafar’s very own banner, Lightingale Productions, the film has been directed by ace ad-filmmaker, Ahsan Rahim and marks Zafar and Maya’s debut in the Pakistan film industry.
The production house has also partnered with one of the world’s biggest film studios, Yash Raj Films, the production house behind some of the most iconic films of our time for exclusive distribution of the film across 25 countries worldwide.
